Hi (hi)

Here is a pic of Tafari the APD's enclosure. Tafari is single at the moment after the death of Marjani, his mate. :( However, he will have a new companon next week. :)

Tafari's home is 2ft long, 12 inches wide and 18 inches tall. It is made of melanine, with a perspex front and hinged wood and mesh lids. His home is furnished with a branch, silk and plastic plants (APD's don't seem to chew these), cardboard rolls, a grass nest, and a ceramic house.

Hi,

The enclosure built by Heather has given me ideas and I've built a new enclosure for my APDs. The previous was too small now for the 4 babies I've kept from the first litter of my APDs.

It is 60 cm long, 40 cm large and 50 cm high. The front doors are in glass, the sliding is in aluminium (because I've already seen rodents gnaw slidings in plastic ^^). The rest is in melanine. It is not finished yet (the finishing touches are not done) and I will add accessories later ^^ !
